With 20 years of design experience, including 13 years focused enterprise software product design, I bring deep expertise in driving product clarity, aligning user needs with business goals, and designing scalable systems.

At Cockroach Labs, I’ve helped shape complex, technical products ranging from database observability tools to streamlined free trial and onboarding experiences. My recent transition into a managerial role has added a new dimension to my skillset, allowing me to mentor designers while maintaining a strong hands-on presence in product strategy and execution.

Previously, I led critical design initiatives at Percolate, an enterprise content marketing platform, and contributed to the evolution of CRM tools at Squarespace, blending usability with the flexibility demanded by fast-scaling teams.

Every design I ship is paired with tracking plans. I define success metrics with PMs and data partners to ensure UX improvements tie directly to performance.

AI-augmented design workflow
I actively explore AI tools like ChatGPT, Bolt, and v0 to evolve our design process. I use them for rapid prototyping, layout exploration, UI copywriting, and accelerating early-phase iteration, enabling faster feedback and richer collaboration across disciplines.

My role
I recently led the design of CockroachDB’s revamped cloud experience, managing updates across key product areas, including a new free trial offering, sign-up flow, onboarding process, and cluster creation experience, to create an engaging UX that drives an increase in sign-ups and converts prospects.
